Sweet Orange Steamed Salmon

These days people tend to grill or pan fry, for this recipe we have decide to steam our organic salmon fillet. We have also replaced the traditional lemon with oranges to create a delicious dish.
Prep Time 10 mins
Cooking Time 15 mins
Serves 1 per fillet
Ingredients
1 large or 2 Organic Salmon Fillets
2 tbsp Organic Honey
1 tsp Ginger Powder
2 tsp Fish Sauce
1 tsp Oyster Sauce
1 tbsp Sesame Seed Oil
1/2 tsp Crushed Black Pepper
1/2 Paprika
1/2 Organic Orange
Coriander, Chopped
What you'll need
Baking Paper or Parchment Paper
Small Mixing Bowl
Pastry Brush
Mixing Spoon
Oven Tray
METHOD:
 
Pre heat oven: Fan: 190°C - Gas Mark: 5
Start by scraping the scales off the skin of the salmon if not done already.
Then rinse off your salmon and rub with an organic lemon
( A tsp of vinegar can be used if you run out of lemon).
Let it sit for 2 mins then rinse.
Next add all the your ingredients into the mixing bowl and mix until fully combined.

Place Salmon onto a sheet of baking or parchment paper
Cut a slice of orange and squeeze the rest into your mix

Generously marinate your salmon, garnish with fresh coriander and place the orange on the top

Sprinkle over with crushed black pepper and wrap in baking/parchment paper
Place in oven and steam for 15 mins or until well done.

Take out the salmon once cooked and gently unravel the paper.
Contents will be very hot and steam will be released so carry out with care.
