Wild Venison
"To my mind, a fine well cooked haunch of venison - such as is served during the season every Tuesday and Thursday at the Albion Hotel opposite Drury Lane Theatre is the finest dinner obtainable."
A Man About Town (1850)
Venison is the meat of deer. From local forests, wild venison is a healthy meat, low in fat. There are two main types of wild venison offered by Graig Farm - Fallow and Red. Wherever possible, we supply local fallow.
Fresh availability is subject to the legal culling seasons for wild deer, but either red or fallow venison is generally available year-round.

Cooking Venison
We received this e-mail from Regine Faure, a mail order customer :
"I ordered some Venison steaks from you and wish to tell you how great and delicious those were. We enjoyed the meat so much, that I wanted to share my French recipe with you, because I think it's really worth it, and you could put it on your site as a complement to your sales !"
