Nanty-gollen Farm
Near Pontypool, south Wales
Nant-Y-Gollen Farm is a family run farm of approx 135 ha.
The farm is situated on the outskirts of Pontypool, Torfaen, adjacent to the little mountain common which is in the Brecon Beacon National Park.
The farm is managed solely for organic beef production and is in an all grass system. The farm is under agreement with both the organic farming scheme and Tyr Gofal (which is an environmental scheme). In addition there are areas of broadleaved woodland and new planting.
The suckler herd consists of 35 cows which run with an Aberdeen Angus Bull, and all his prodgeny is then kept and finished on purely home produced fodder.
