Sansaw Pigs - An Organic Joint Venture

Sansaw Pigs, a joint venture between James and Åsa Thompson of Sansaw Estates in North Shropshire and dynamic organic farming duo Nick and Chris Taylor, was established in October 2006.
The 165 sow organic breeding and finishing unit is run and managed by Ioun Hughes. Ioun's attention to detail and passion for producing outstanding pigs has been an inspiration to everyone involved, particularly the pigs who enjoy five star treatment.
Sansaw has a long tradition of producing world class stock dating back to 1862 and is now at the leading edge of mixed organic farming, producing lamb, beef, potatoes, carrots, cereals as well as the pigs within the organic rotation. The estate also provides a diverse range of modernised rural houses and cottages to rent and has recently developed three stunning modern offices, The Pavilions, set in the Victorian Walled Garden, part of the Sansaw Business Park.
