This pocket-sprung mattress is a fully organic product. Mattresses are built up of layers of materials with different properties to give you the right combination of support and comfort. The Snowdon mattress features several brand new organic wool products combining durability and comfort. These mattresses are available as standard or firm. Please state your preference of firmness when ordering. The Snowdon Mattress is made in layers around a large number of strong cotton pockets each of which holds a metal spring. Around these are layers of cotton to protect the springs, on top of which is a layer of 1,000 gsm of double-needled wool for strength and durability. Around that are two layers of lightly needled wool for warmth and comfort, and a final wrap-around layer of wool for a final layer of luxury. Finally, the whole mattress is covered in a cotton cover.
