Org Balsamic vinegar (500mls)
All balsamics are not equal! Our 2 single estate vinegars are authentic artisan products, made exclusively in Modena in Northern Italy, from the reduced juices, or 'must', of the specific grape variety Trebbiano. These vinegars follow the traditional and expensive method of aging in a succession of wooden barrels - each of different hard-wood - for anything up to 25 years. The results of this "labour of love" is a burst of rich, mellow, complex flavours and aromas a world away from the flat vinegar taste associated with many cheaper brands. Our 500ml "standard balsamic" is a single vintage vinegar, aged for up to 10 years whose more rustic tones in flavour make it is ideal for use with meats, stews, sauces and cheese.
