Australia 2002/3 - Quite splendid vintage of this established favourite. There is Chardonnay for creamy apple fruit, Chenin for nuttiness and Sauvignon for zest - the perfect combination. Unoaked, there is still a lovely richness to the wine, arising from the long, hot ripening period. "Striking fruity nose; very grassy with a touch of herbaceousness.
