Dried Pineapple (100g)
Produced by small-scale farmers in Uganda, using simple but effective solar driers, these superb-tasting fruit are free from any additives, and are grown without the use of any pesticides or artificial fertilisers. Sun dried Pineaplle is ready to eat and is an ideal snack for all ages. It is also delicious when rehydrated in water, juices or yoghurt. After 30 minutes, the fruit is soft enough to be pureed. It is an excellent addition to curries, tagines, compotes and cakes.
