Plum Baby

Organic baby foods now account for the highest proportion of total sales of any organic food type. Many people want to give their baby the best food they can, and with the lack of pesticides and other chemicals used in their production, organic food is indeed an obvious choice for many parents.

As an alternative to frozen baby food, we can now offer a great new range of organic baby foods which do not need refrigeration until opened, but have not been ultra-heat treated like glass jars are. This way, the goodness of the food is retained, yet there is the convenience of storage at room temperature - and a great tasting range too!

The Principles

As are many good things, Plum Baby Superfoods were developed out of real need. The inspiration behind them, Suzie Willis, became exasperated with the choice of baby food available after the birth of her third child, and asked herself "Is this as good as it gets?" She decided to develop her own range, using the best organic ingredients and the principle of "superfoods".

Every pot of Plum Baby is crammed full of the right things to nourish your baby. Each ingredient has been chosen because it’s a superfood - a natural source of important nutrients for your baby’s health, well-being and development. Certified Organic. No preservatives, artificial additives, salt or sugar or bulking agents (such as rice or maize starch). Free from gluten, egg, dairy and guilt!
Suitable for vegetarians. The range also contains probably the first organic Fairtrade baby food - see Mango & Banana below.

"I'm just emailing to let you know just how much my baby loves your foods, especially the mango and banana puree. He is an incredibly fussy eater, and I have tried various brands to no avail. Heinz, hipp etc. It seems that he has settled for Plum Baby quite happily. I will be sticking to it until he's on proper food."
