Graig Farm - Who We Are > Our Royal Visit

Our Royal Visit

We were all very pleased on the 21st July 2000 to welcome His Royal Highness Prince of Wales to Graig Farm.

The Prince is a great supporter of organic food and farming, and he was interested to see what we did here at Graig Farm.

After meeting the staff and seeing our facilities, we had a discussion with some members of the Graig Farm Producers Group, a local abattoir owner, Doug Griffiths, whose business was at the time under threat from excessive inspection charges, and some of the retailers of Graig Farm produce.

Everyone had a good day, and the weather could not have been better. We hope the Prince enjoyed being here as much as we enjoyed having him!
