Mr & Mrs Richard Vaughan

Richard Vaughan’s family farm is 60 acres, and lies near the river Severn near Shrewsbury in Shropshire.
They have a mixed farming system, ideal in the organic context, with a small herd of 8 sows. In addition, they produce cattle, eggs, and because of the position and good quality of the soil, they also grow organic vegetables – potatoes, carrots, parsnips, leeks, onions and swedes.
They have been fully organic since 2000.
The Vaughan’s son is currently working on a beef and arable farm in Alberta, Canada.
