Philip Bevan and his wife farm 262 acres on the edge of the beautiful Usk Valley in south Wales.
As well as a milking herd of some 90 cows, the family keep 4 breeding sows of the Large White cross Saddleback breed.
Being a mixed farm, they also grow corn, which they feed to their own animals, as well as an area of commercial vegetables.
The farm became fully organic in March 2001.
