Tircapel Farm, near Brecon
Tircapelis a traditional family farm, of some 290 acres, rearing cattle and sheep. It is situated in the beautiful Crai Valley, in the unspoilt western area of the Brecon Beacons National Park in south Wales.The farm is owned and run by Keith and Helen Jones assisted by their children, Lowri and Rhys, both of whom are still at school .
Tircapelis fully organic and is undergoing conservation work as part of the Tir Gofal Environmental Scheme, which helps to preserve and protect the landscape and improve the wildlife habitat.
In addition to traditional agricultural activities, diversification into tourism is currently underway. From Easter 2005, guests will be welcomed to stay in the newly converted 5 star barns and will have open access to the farmland and enjoy the various walking, cycling and fishing available in the area
