This 240 acre farm at Grendon Bishop, near Bromyard in Hereforshire,has been organic for 20 years. John and Mary Wakefield-Jones have been farming it for all that time. They were one of the early pioneers of organic farming.
They have a closed beef suckler herd (closed meaning that they don't buy in animals, but breed their own replacement cows), as well as a flock of 120 ewes and a small arable enterprise.
They are well-known locally for their organic animal feed mill which supplies animal feeds to many smaller scale producers in the area.
