Internet Ordering

We hope the experience of ordering online will be pleasant one for you.

This page gives step-by-step instructions for customers who have not ordered before, or have encountered difficulties. If at any time you need to speak to us (9 to 5.30 Monday to Friday), please ring 01597 851655 and we will be pleased to help.

How to Buy

Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse to our Shop, select the relevant category, and once the list of products has appeared, click add on any items that you wish to buy. This will add them seamlessly to your shopping basket (on the right).
Items which require a weight to be selected, will have a 'more info and buy' link next to them. Clicking this will take you through to the product and its description. A weight for the item can either be selected or entered, and clicking 'add' will add the item + weight to your basket.

If at any time you wish to remove an item from your basket, just click on the (x) next to the relevant item.

After you have finished your selection, click on "Check Out" underneath your basket on the right.

Once on the checkout page, you will be required to login or register before proceeding to pay for your goods. This process enables us to connect you with your contact details and should make the process quicker and easier for you. The page will offer you three options:

Register - this is for new customers

Login - this is for returning customers who have used the site before and who have a password

Returning customers who have only used our OLD website, and this is their first order on our new site

Registration for New Customers

Before continuing to the payment page, we ask you to be registered and logged in. This requires simply your contact details and address, and to choose a password. The registration is very straight forward (a small form) and once you have registered, a welcome email will be sent to you. Meanwhile, you can proceed tothe checkpout process.

Log-in for Existing Customers - Already using the new site

The first time you use the site, we ask you to give your e-mail address, and to choose a password. This is all the information you need for subsequent visits. Once you have entered your email address and password and clicked log in you will be logged in and then redirected to the checkout page.

You are then free to add your delivery notes and carbon contribution, and then press the 'Proceed to Secure Payment' button.

Log-in for Existing Customers - New to this site

In order to help speed up the process of ordering and processing, we have added all our existing customers to the new customer database on this new site, and as such, you will have been allocated a randomly selected password.

Firstly, selected items from the shop in your basket. Then click on "Go to Checkout" at the bottom of your list of purchases (this is situated below and to the left of the main piture at the top of the page).

At the next page you will then be able to click on the "I'm a customer of the old site returning to the new site" button. This will take you to a page which asks for your e-mail address. Then click on "confirm", and you will be logged in and taken after a couple of seconds to the "Checkout", where you can continue your purchase.

An e-mail will be sent to you which will enable you to log-in with a password supplied on the e-mail next time you want to buy something.

Payment

We accept credit card payment. Owing to the nature of our products, logistics and some international trading restrictions on UK meat, we are only able to accept orders from within the UK at present.

We accept Visa and Mastercard, Switch, Delta and Visa affiliated debit cards.

Most of our perishable items (meats, fish, etc..) are priced by weight (Kg). Our butchery and preparation processes are entirely manual, and therefore there will be some variations in the final weight of a pack. Because of this, we do not take payment from your credit until your parcel is ready for despatch. You may find that the final payment differes slightly from the figure on your order. This will be because of weight variations on the weighed items.
