David & Christine Hunt
Grove Farm, near Hereford
Grove Farm is a 70 acre organic farm is situated on the Herefordshire/Welsh border over looking the dramatic Black Mountains, where David and Christine Hunt breed and raise their "Huntsgrove" pedigree Hereford cattle.
They have seen great success with their breeding stock - being winners of the association small herd competition covering the area from Shropshire to South Wales for three years running
They pride themselves on maintaining good milking cows producing calves with excellent conformation and uniform growing rates.
Christine Hunt has a successful art gallery at the farm and is well known for her paintings of market characters, drawn from the local market at Abergavenny (which sadly will soon be an ASDA). Her web site galleriesintheblackmountains.co.uk, has pictures of some of the cattle, and local views.
