Mountain lamb
Developed over centuries to survive in the wild environment of the Welsh uplands, the unique mountain breeds of Wales produce small lambs of exquisite flavour. The lambs are reared most of their lives on the herbs and grasses of of their native habitat. The meat is fully butchered, vac-packed and labelled for identification of cuts. SEASONALLY AVAILABLE - September to end May. Orders may be taken out of season, but cannot be delivered until new season starts. Boxes are charged by the kg. Weight ranges and box prices can be found by clicking on the pictures below. In order not to exceed maximum weights, one or more items may need to be removed from those listed when larger lambs are used. This will be done in such as way as to ensure similar value of cuts.
