Penllan is Welsh for "Top of the Hill", which reflects the locxal geography, on the English/Welsh Border, near Kington in Herefordshire.
The farm has been owned by the James family for the past 60 years, and is currently run by Barry and Ann, with their son Matthew.
The farm extends for 170 acres, and has 250 ewes, and 20 suckler cows. There are also crops grown on the farm, including 30 acres of cereals and 15 acres of potatoes.
