Angela Pearson-Gregory
Monnington House Farm, Herefs.

The Pearson-Gregory's were farming in Kenya, when they visited Herefordshire and as Angela says "We thought if we ever returned to England, this is where we would choose to live! In 1954 when we returned, we found this farm with the oak trees - it was a dream come true."
The farm is 370 acres of good mixed farming land, with, Angela says "an old farm house (the modern part built in 1680!), streams, ponds, small woods, miles of hedgerows and the oak trees!!"
"We have now joined the Stewardship Scheme , so are planting wild flowers, bird feed etc."
"In 1999 we made the decision to become organic and from 2002, we have been selling our first organic produce - seed oats, feed wheat, straw, silage, hay and most importantly, lambs. They have thrived on all our new clover leys. Now that we are fully organic, this has made life easier!"
"The Wye Valley Walk goes through part of the farm and we have numerous footpaths and bridleway, so many people are able to share and enjoy this part of the countryside."
