The Jones's Farm completed its conversion to organic farming in 2003.
A warm welcome awaits you at Ddol Cottage, set in remote hills surrounded by superb scenery on a working organic beef and sheep farm in the Heart of Wales. Tranquil surroundings set the scene for refreshing walks and a variety of wildlife such as badgers, white buzzards, and red kites. Try a spot of fishing in our own trout pool.
The cottage offers a comfortable lounge looking outon scenic views of the hills. TV and video facilities, electric fire and overnight heating.
The new fully fitted kitchen as you can see with the latest dishwasher, washing machine and microwave etc all for your easy use to make your stay more enjoyable.
The bedrooms one a double room and the other a twin room with duvets provided, linen and towels available for hire on request or bring your own. The bathroom is cosy with a bath toilet and washbasin.
Cot and highchair are available
Within easy reach are a number of places of interest, including the Victorian Spa town of Llandrindod Wells, with its leisure centre, bowling and fishing. The small market town of Rhayader has the Royal Welsh Crystal Glass factory and the splendid Elan Valley dams (great for walking or bird watching, and with an excellent Visitor Centre).
Our award-winning village of Llanbadarn Fynydd offers a community-run shop and petrol services. The New Inn serves good food and welcomes children.
