Accommodation - Ashridge Farm

Mid Devon

Ashridge Farm is an organic farm in the beautiful Mid Devon countryside. We are 12 miles from Exeter and within easy reach of both the north and south coast. Dartmoor and Exmoor are within one hour. The countryside around Mid Devon is outstandingly beautiful and peaceful and a haven for walkers, nature watchers, photographers and anybody who enjoys the countryside.

The Farm

The farm is 190 acres with cattle, sheep, chicken, pigs and cereals. It has been run organically for 7 years. The cattle are young stock being reared for replacements for the next door organic dairy farm, the sheep produce quality lamb and you will see the chicken on the organic shelves of J. Sainsbury, Morrisons and Somerfield.

Ashridge has won awards for the conservation and countryside management including Devon Wildlife Trusts Approval Gold award and the Otter Trophy from FWAG. The farm is in a Countryside Stewardship scheme and has recently received a grant to convert old farm buildings into high class B&B accommodation and function room for conferences and celebrations.

The Accommodation

The newly converted building comprise of a family room with a king size double bed and bunk beds with en-suite bath/shower. The second room is a twin with a double and single beds and an en-suite wet room. This room has been awarded a mobility rating M2. There is also a single room with en-suite shower. All rooms have TV, tea/coffee facilities, radio alarm clocks and WiFi broadband internet access and are centrally heated with underfloor and radiators for extra warmth.
